A atuação da comissão no processo de implantação de captação de córneas no Hospital Santa Lucinda – CCMB / PUC-SP / Comission actions directed to the implantation of active seek process of corneal donation at Santa Lucinda Hospital - CCMB / PUC-
Resumo
O presente estudo objetiva verificar se uma Comissão Intra – Hospitalar de Doação de Órgãos e Tecidos para Transplante (CIHDOTT) - trouxe benefícios no processo de captação de córneas no Hospital Santa Lucinda (HSL) em Sorocaba/SP. As informações levantadas referiram-se ao número de óbitos ocorridos no período entre maio/07 a novembro/07. Através de avaliação direta do número de óbitos ocorridos, entrevistas familiares realizadas com consentimento positivo para a doação e o valor preconizado pela Portaria GM/1.262 de 16/6/2006, foi possível verificar que a CIHDOTT atuante e participativa tem fundamental papel no processo de captação e doação de órgãos.

ABSTRACT
The present study aims to verify if the restructure of the internal commission of organ and tissues donation for transplantation could bring benefits in the corneal captation process at the Hospital Santa Lucinda (HSL) in Sorocaba/SP. All deaths between March 2007 and November 2007 were analysed and when not contraindicated the families were interviewed and the donation was asked. Our data indicated that the effective work of the Comissão Intra-Hospitalar de Doação de Órgãos e Tecidos para Transplante (CIHDOTT) resulted in significant greater number of donations when compared with the expected number extolled by the Portaria GM/1.262 of 16/06/2006. We concluded that the implementation of this commission resulted in positive effects regarding organ captation generating a common wellness for the society.
