Este texto relata uma experiência envolvendo a análise de resoluções “incorretas” apresentadas por estudantes do 9º ano a uma tarefa que remete ao conteúdo sistemas de equações lineares, realizada por um grupo de professores participantes de um grupo de estudos. O foco reside nas aprendizagens que decorreram dessa ação, em especial no que diz respeito à“(re)invenção”, pelo grupo em tela, de estratégias aritméticas para a resolução de sistemas lineares. O exame da produção escrita levou tanto à formulação de hipóteses a respeito das dificuldades daqueles estudantes, quanto à motivação dos professores em incorporar as aprendizagens realizadas a partir delas às suas práticas.

Abstract

This text reports an experiment involving the analysis of "incorrect" resolutions presented by students from 9th grade to a task that refers to the content of linear equations, performed by a group of teachers participating in a study group. The focus lies in the learning that took place in this action, in particular with regard to "(re)invention", by the group, of arithmetic strategies for solving linear systems. Examination of the written production has led to the formulation of hypotheses about the difficulties of those students, and to the motivation of teachers to incorporate what they have learned from them to their practices.
