Gráficos Estadísticos en Libros de Texto para Educación Primaria de Guatemala y Venezuela <br> Statistical Graphics in Textbooks for Primary Education in Guatemala and Venezuela

Resumen
En esta investigación se presenta el análisis de las actividades de gráficos estadísticos que contienen dos series de libros de texto de matemática para educación primaria de Latinoamérica. Este análisis permite estimar el potencial de las actividades para ayudar a los estudiantes a desarrollar la compresión gráfica en ese nivel de educación. Se trabaja con la Serie Guatemática (Guatemala) y la Colección Bicentenario (Venezuela), se analizan todas las actividades de gráficos propuestas. La estrategia de análisis fue emergente pues las categorías fueron generadas en el desarrollo del trabajo al clasificar las actividades por su similitud. Los resultados indican que son diferentes las tendencias, la Serie Guatemática hace énfasis en la interpretación de gráficos, mientras que la Colección Bicentenario lo hace en su construcción.
Abstract
This research presents the analysis of statistical graphs’s activities from two series of textbooks of mathematics for primary education in Latin America. This analysis allows to estimate the potential of the activities to help students develop the graphics compression at that level of education. Working with the Series Guatemática (Guatemala) and the Collection Bicentenario (Venezuela), discusses all the activities of graphics proposals. The analysis’s strategy was pop-up because the categories were generated during the development of work to classify activities by their similarity. The results indicate that are different trends, the Series Guatemática makes emphasis on the interpretation of graphics, while the collection Bicentennial makes in its construction.
Resumo
Nesta pesquisa é apresentada a análise das atividades de gráficos estatísticos contendo duas séries de livros de matemática para o ensino primário na América Latina. Esta análise permite estimar o potencial de atividades para ajudar os alunos a desenvolver a compressão gráfico naquele nível de ensino. Se trabalha com o Serie Guatemática (Guatemala) e da Coleção Bicentenário (Venezuela), todas as atividades de propostas gráficas são analisadas. A estratégia de análise foi emergindo como as categorias foram gerados no desenvolvimento do trabalho em classificar atividades pela sua semelhança. Os resultados indicam que são diferentes tendências, Guatemática Série sublinha a interpretação de gráficos, enquanto a recolha Bicentenário faz na sua construção.
