Abstract

This article presents the mapping of eighteen dissertations and theses that deal with the themes: imagery, perception and technologies to teach and learn mathematics. Initially, the definition of mapping, its objectives and the paths taken to its accomplishment are discussed. Next, the definitions and concepts extracted from dissertations and theses are presented. Finally, the following conclusions are presented, it was perceived that the theme is little discussed in the context / scope of mathematical knowledge. In summary, the imaginary as a theoretical reference is discussed in the researches in Mathematics Education. The scientific productions analyzed show the need for further research in this area.

Keywords: Mapping; Imaginary; Perception; Technology; Teaching-Learning and Mathematics.
