About the Journal

The CAFI,  Journal of Accounting, Actuarial, Finance & Information, is a semi-annual, open access electronic publication linked to the Professional Master's in Accounting, Controllership and Finance at PUC-SP, which originated in the Postgraduate Studies Program in Accounting Sciences. and Actuarials, which began its activities in 1978. It proposes to publish scientific articles and essays by Brazilian and foreign professors, researchers and students, in Portuguese, English or Spanish, of a multidisciplinary nature in the area of applied social sciences, serving as a space for the debate of ideas of recognized theoretical rigor, intellectual and scientific relevance for the academic community and society, both nationally and internationally.

Focus and Scope

The Postgraduate Studies Program in Accounting, Controllership and Finance, linked to the Faculty of Economics, Administration, Accounting and Actuarials (FEA) of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC/SP), installed for over 70 years in the city of São Paulo - SP, Brazil, aware that the publication of articles in scientific journals is of paramount importance for the development of research, presents its scientific journal CAFI Journal of Accounting, Actuarial, Finance & Information, a biannual periodical of scientific diffusion of multidisciplinary, whose goal is to publish research of recognized theoretical rigor, intellectual and scientific relevance in the areas of Applied Social Sciences and Information Sciences.

The CAFI intends to publish scientific articles and essays by Brazilian and foreign professors, researchers, students and professionals, serving as a space for the debate of quality ideas in the thematic areas of the magazine for the community academia and society, both nationally and internationally.

Peer Review Process

The articles are sent to two reviewers (double blind review), guaranteeing confidentiality and anonymity for both the author(s) and the reviewers. The referees analyze the originality of the subject, the contribution to the area, the treatment presented, the clarity of the writing and the normalization of citations and bibliographic references. If one of the opinions is positive (with or without modifications) and the other is negative, the CAFI Editor will resort to a third reviewer to resolve the impasse. Only articles approved by at least two reviewers/reviewers are published.

Frequency

The frequency is biannual, being:

- January-June

- July-December.

Open Access Policy

This journal offers immediate free access to its content, following the principle that making scientific knowledge available to the public free of charge provides greater world democratization of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal uses the LOCKSS system to create a distributed filing system among participating libraries and allows them to create permanent journal archives for preservation and restoration. Know more...

Fees charged by CAFI Magazine

CAFI does not charge any fee for any of the services, therefore there are no fees for submission, analysis, review or publication.
