Abstract

The understanding of the presence of jurists, in the social and intellectual environment, depends on the clarity about the person “behind” the cover used for recognition by the group.  Therefore, in modernity, clarity regarding the concept of culture and intellectual formation is essential for recognizing the scholar's adjusted performance, while working in the legal environment. In this line, the “hedonistic option” of students must be criticized, breaking their training in search of “social appearance”, as well as overcoming the tensions that determine the spirit of group– which moves away people from their individual freedom and own dimension, denying their intimacy. From such clarifications, the essential function of happiness is noted as man's personal and rational pleasure, in the face of infinity and, therefore, his condition to define judgments and present solutions in a more appropriate way, even if taken by the chaos of the world and by academic barbarism.
