ABSTRACT Lipomas are the most common benign tumors of soft tissues. However, vulvar lipomas are extremely rare and the literature is uncertain as to its incidence worldwide. The aim of this paper is to describe a case of lipoma located in the vulva from a 35-year old woman. The patient complained of an insidiously growing mass located in the large lower lip. Ultrasound showed a lipomatous subcutaneous nodule of soft tissue lineage. We performed the excision of the lipoma, and histopathologic analysis confirmed it to be a lipoma.Downloads
