ÂNCORAS DE CARREIRA E GERAÇÃO Y: UM ESTUDO COM CONSULTORES DE EMPRESAS JUNIORES

Este artigo apresenta os resultados de uma pesquisa sobre a orientação de carreira de jovens profissionais da Geração Y. Com base nos estudos propostos por Schein (1996), que culminou em um inventário denominado de “âncoras de carreira”, o objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar a orientação de carreira da Geração Y, especificamente, de consultores de empresas juniores de Minas Gerais, à luz do modelo desse autor. Como procedimento metodológico, utilizou-se o instrumento elaborado por Schein (1996) para identificar as âncoras de carreira, na forma de uma survey eletrônica. Os resultados desta pesquisa evidenciam que as preferências dos participantes corroboram as características gerais típicas da personalidade coletiva dessa geração.Metrics
