Abstract

Este artigo tem como tema a qualidade do ensino a distância (EaD), com foco nos bacharelados em Administração em Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) no Brasil. Tem como objetivo saber o que as Instituições privadas do Brasil entendem por qualidade e para tal, realizou-se pesquisa qualitativa, partindo de estudo exploratório sobre EaD no Brasil e sobre os cursos de Administração. A partir de um corpus das sete maiores IES que oferecem EaD em Administração, foram realizadas entrevistas semiestruturadas com seus gestores. Os resultados apontam que o conceito de qualidade ainda é pautado por uma visão Taylorista, que foca a qualidade no processo e não nos resultados, influenciando na mão-de-obra profissional.
