Abstract

A formulação e a gestão de políticas públicas coerentes os movimentos populacionais, podem contribuir para o desenvolvimento e proporcionar qualidade de vida aos idosos, pois, com a perspectiva da longevidade, aumenta a ocorrência de pessoas em envelhecimento ativo. Objetivo geral do estudo foi observar fatores que contribuem para a carreira de idosos nas organizações. O procedimento metodológico utilizado foi qualitativo, com alguma recorrência a dados quantitativos, sobretudo demográficos. Com este estudo observou-se a necessidade de criação de novas políticas públicas de emprego voltadas aos idosos, fazendo com que as organizações possam inseri-los no mercado de trabalho com autonomia e segurança.

Pós-doutora em Administração Pública e Governo. Professora do Mestrado Profissional em Administração e do Doutorado em Adminustração da Unoesc.

Vilma Beltrame, Unoesc, Mestrado em Biociências e Saúde.

Doutor em Gerontologia Biomédica pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (2008). Possui Graduação em Enfermagem e Obstetrícia pela Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina (1980), mestrado em Enfermagem pela Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (2000). Professora do curso de Enfermagem da Universidade do Contestado (UnC). Atua como professora e pesquisadora na Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarina (UNOESC) no Programa de Mestrado em biociências e Saúde (PPGBS) no qual desenvolve estudos especialmente na linha de Pesquisa Promoção e Gestão em saúde. Pesquisa, produção técnica e tecnológica focadas em Cuidado no Envelhecimento Humano.
