Repensando a dimensão do trabalho no âmbito esportivo na perspectiva de ex-atletas

Objetiva-se objetiva repensar o esporte de alto rendimento como um trabalho a partir das perspectivas de ex-atletas de alto rendimento. Opta-se pela metodologia qualitativa de pesquisa com método de multi casos com onze entrevistas em profundidade feitas com ex-atletas de alto rendimento, analisadas por análise de conteúdo. Conclui-se que o trabalho para ex-atletas deve ser repensado na medida em que há características de precarização e trabalho infantil, além de exploração. Evidencia-se através das entrevistas e bibliografia que o atleta é tratado como commodity nos contratos esportivos e que os mega eventos são um chamariz para a exploração da imagem através da superexposição.
