Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between the attitudinal characteristics of human capital, such as involvement and organizational affective commitment, with the attributes of learning organizations. 256 employees from five Spanish companies participated in the study. Three instruments were used to measure the degree of affective organizational involvement and commitment and the attributes of the learning organization. Through random coefficient regression analysis, significant relationships were identified between commitment and involvement with some of the attributes of the learning organization. In this way, commitment and involvement are characterized as facilitating factors for the development of learning organizations.
