Abstract

Este artigo procura analisar a importância do Programa de Estágio Supervisionadooferecido pelas Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) para a inserção do aluno nomercado de trabalho e, consequentemente, na sociedade ocidental contemporânea.Esta sociedade passou por diferentes mudanças e transformações econômicas,que redundaram num ambiente em que as empresas caminham para um modelo noqual existe a diminuição de níveis hierárquicos e postos de trabalho. Desta forma, aspessoas devem tentar garantir a sua empregabilidade, seja por motivação própria,por meio das instituições de ensino, seja pela necessidade de empreender e criarnovos negócios e empresas. A partir de pesquisa exploratória qualitativa, vivencial eobservacional, procurou-se ressaltar a importância do estágio supervisionado comomeio para que o aluno desenvolva conhecimentos, capacidades e atitudes necessáriase assim, consequentemente, como instrumento de inserção do aluno no mercadoprofissional.
