A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo analisar a percepção dos colaboradores do setor supermercadista em relação ao engajamento no trabalho. Para tal, realizou-se uma análise descritiva, de abordagem quantitativa por meio de Survey, na qual obteve-se uma amostra de 131 respondentes de seis supermercados situados na cidade de Tupanciretã – RS, utilizando-se a Escala de Engajamento no Trabalho (EEGT). Deste modo, os resultados indicam que a amostra apresenta altas médias de engajamento no trabalho, tanto para o aspecto vigor e dedicação, demonstrando que estão envolvidos e que o trabalho é visto como algo prazeroso, beneficiando o setor supermercadista da cidade pesquisada.
