Within a given timespan, it is impossible to achieve more than a certain amount of tasks. In this sense, time is limited, which explains that most people around us are always so much in a hurry. Still, some are not. They “take their time”. The article analyses, interdefines in semiotic terms and compares different implicit “philosophies” of Time and shows how these command opposite manners of overcoming its finitude both in existential terms and at the level of social interaction.
