Abstract

In the new concept of the television, characterized by technological convergence, multiple channels, unlimited broadcasting and interactivity, the field of research that focuses on viewers and, more specifically, on the concept of television memory will be crucial to the study of television history, as well as providing vital clues which will lead us to conclude that the brand of television written off as defunct is in fact still very much alive.

Profesor Titular del Departamento de Periodismo de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la Universidad de Málaga (España). Doctor en Periodismo y Licenciado en Periodismo e Historia Contemporánea por la Universidad de Málaga. Entre sus publicaciones cabe destacar el libro La televisión en el recuerdo.
