Abstract

This article presents elements how to build the Lima Barreto mediatic production - published in newspapers, magazines or books - and its irreducible principle of "communicate what I observe". In more contemporary terms, its output is a textual media to expose their worldview and their criticality. At full deployment of a modern journalism informative, Lima simply ignores semiospheres of Literature and Journalism to implement their worldview. To expose this positioning, we analyzed one of his tales in recurring themes which focuses on the metropolis and social exclusion.
