Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • A contribuição é original e inédita, e não está sendo avaliada para publicação por outra revista; caso contrário, justificar em "Comentários ao Editor" e no e-mail.

  • Os arquivos para submissão estão em formato Microsoft Word, Open Office ou RTF (desde que não ultrapasse 5 MB).

  • Todos os endereços de páginas na Internet (URLs), incluídas no texto (Ex.: http://www.ibict.br) estão ativos e prontos para clicar.

  • O texto está em espaço simples; usa uma fonte de 12-pontos e os títulos em negrito e sem numeração.

  • O texto segue os padrões de estilo e requisitos bibliográficos descritos em Diretrizes para Autores, na seção Sobre a Revista.

  • A  identificação de autoria deste trabalho foi removida do arquivo e da opção Propriedades no Word, garantindo desta forma o critério de sigilo da revista, caso submetido para avaliação por pares (ex.: artigos), conforme instruções disponíveis em Assegurando a Avaliação por Pares Cega.

Author Guidelines

Submission of papers must be done through the journal’s website and via email (caadm@pucsp.br) to the editors, following the format described below and shown in the attached file.

Regarding editing and submission software:
The recommended text format is Microsoft Word. Tables and graphs should be submitted in Excel, and figures in PowerPoint.

Regarding formatting:

  • Page size: A4

  • Margins: Left and top margins: 2.45 cm; right and bottom margins: 2.45 cm

  • Line spacing: 1.5

Main text:

  • Font: Arial / Times New Roman

  • Main text: 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing

    • Exceptions:

      • Footnotes: 10 pt, separated from the text by a 5 cm line

      • Direct quotations longer than 3 lines: 11 pt

  • Paragraph: 1 cm indentation, justified alignment

Footnotes and citations:
Authors are requested to follow NBR 10520: AUG 2002.

Bibliographic references:
Authors are requested to follow NBR 6023:2002.

Note: Failure to comply with the ABNT standards regarding paper presentation will result in immediate return for correction by the author(s). An exception will be made for non-Brazilian authors not residing in the country, whose texts will be adjusted to the aforementioned ABNT standards.

Article layout:

Title:

  • Centered, all uppercase, bold, Arial / Times New Roman, 18 pt

  • White text inside a blue box

Authors:

  • Right-aligned, 10 pt

  • Full identification of all authors: full name, institution, email, and contact phone number

Subtitle:

  • Immediately below the title, normal text, 12 pt, bold, Arial / Times New Roman

  • White text inside a blue box

Abstract (in Portuguese):

  • Left-aligned, fully justified, maximum 100 words

  • Arial, 12 pt, no indentation

  • Single paragraph

  • The word "Abstract" should be written in Arial / Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, only the first letter capitalized, no indentation

Keywords (in Portuguese):

  • Left-aligned, fully justified, up to 3 words

  • Arial, 12 pt, no indentation

  • The word "Keywords" should be written in Arial, 12 pt, bold, only the first letter capitalized, no indentation

Abstract (in English):

  • Left-aligned, fully justified, maximum 100 words

  • Arial, 12 pt, no indentation

Abstract:

  • Should be written in Arial, 12 pt, bold, only the first letter capitalized, no indentation

Keywords (in English):

  • Left-aligned, fully justified, up to 3 words

  • Arial, 12 pt, no indentation

Keywords:

  • Should be written in Arial / Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, only the first letter capitalized, no indentation

Main text of the article/essay/review:

  • Fully justified, 1 cm paragraph indentation, 1.5 cm line and block spacing

Section headings:

  • Unnumbered, only the first letter capitalized

  • Arial / Times New Roman, 12 pt, bold, no indentation

Do not number pages.

Footnotes (if necessary):

  • Arial / Times New Roman, 10 pt

  • Separated from the text by a 5 cm line

Bibliographic references:

  • Use bold for the title of the work

  • Do not use underlining

  • Do not use italics

Regarding the use of graphs, tables, figures, and formulas:

  • Preferably use PowerPoint and Excel for creating graphs, tables, figures, and formulas

  • Prepare graphs, tables, figures, and formulas separately and use the "PASTE SPECIAL" command, copying them as images

  • Also attach the original Excel and PowerPoint files
