Peirce's Solution of the Liar Paradox
Keywords:
Liar Antinomy, Liar Paradox, PeirceAbstract
Between 1864 and 1865 Charles Sanders Peirce presented in a Conference in Harvard University his solution for the Liar’s Paradox, using a treatment of infinite reference inside of the sentence of the Paradox. Later, in 1868 and in 1902, he presented a new solution, using tools of the Aristotelian logic, in a completely distinct study. This article is about these two studies of Peirce.Downloads
