A cidade em movimento: histórias e memórias na imprensa e nas falas

Abstract

In the search to understand the cultural ways of living in the city and working in the field, this article has as objective to reflect on the social experiences lived by the migrantes workers in the city of General Salgado. In the interlocution with the public and enterprise politics of the city/region is possible to visualize in the registers of periodicals some concerns of the local community with the migratory flow for city in ampler dimensions of the historical process. When unmasking the migratory process in the prism of the proper workers, becomes possible to perceive the existence of other projects and experiences around the migration, and to also perceive the intervention that the workers produce in this new physicist-social space of the city.
