<strong>CHANGES IN SCHOOL DAY-TO-DAY CAUSED BY THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EDUCATIONAL LAPTOPS</strong>

This article presents the first results of a study that investigated the introduction and use of educational laptops in an elementary school and possible changes in the established curriculum that this type of digital technology can bring. In order to contextualize this proposition, we tried to present the project One Laptop per Child (OLPC), its pedagogical bases, as well as its relation to the actions developed in Brazil, through the Project on Student One Computer (UCA) coordinated by the Ministry of Education (MEC). The experiences highlighted refer to a public elementary school that participates in the pre-pilot phase of Project UCA. The main results indicate that the methodology of learning projects was adopted and the continuing education as it is a necessity.Downloads
