The development of non-verbal communication through the bliss symbols

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to show the Blisssymbolics Communication System as an augmentative and alternative mode of communication to individuals with cerebral palsy who cannot develop a functional speech. The present study shows us Blissymbolics as an efficient system and also that it has contributed to a better quality of life for the case studied.
