Abstract

We have observed that some human communication disorders are in fact related by how human beings codify and organize subjectively the events of their life. This cognitive and symbolic process received the name of Personal Mythology by David Feinstein and Stanley Krippner, indicating the set of beliefs – usually unconscious – that organize our perception, feelings, thoughts and action. This conducted us to think that many of the communication disorders restrictive and inhibitory beliefs following critical and-or are in fact linked to the organization and incorporation of stressful life events.
