Assessment of the auditory processing: case study
Keywords:
central auditory nervous system, behavioral evaluation, electrophysiological evaluationsAbstract
The aim of the present case study was to demonstrate how the behavioral and electrophysiological assessment of the central auditory nervous system could corroborate the lesions showed by brain imaging techniques and could be trustworthy in recognizing the patient’s complaints, by demonstrating which abilities and functions are altered, since the behavioral tests evidence the altered abilities and the electrophysiological assessment shows the dysfunction of the anatomical structure.Downloads
