Vestibular disease in infectious process in Central Nervous System

Abstract

The aim of this research was to verify the central vestibular system signs that have occurred at the VENG in 7 patients aged from 10 to 71 years. All the patients, 2 females and 5 males, have had neurological disturbances from different causes. The unidirectional, bi-directional and multiple gaze nystagmus have been the most important sign observed among the other central signs that have varied from case to case.
