Atypical swallowing: a clinic practice

Abstract

This paper presents the results of one year of treatment with patients bearing tongue thurst by discussing the procedure, the description of heterogeneous group of patients and the possible significance of the results. The data obtained in this clinical practice are discussed for they seem to be relevant for the professionals who work in this area. It is always very important to consider the patient as a whole so that the work of the speech pathologist and of the orthodontist can be integrated.
