O texto procura traçar na obra de Michel Foucault o percurso que o filósofo francês percorreu até situar a emergência dos conceitos de biopoder e biopolítica com o objetivo de aclarar os desdobramentos teóricos atuais sobre o uso destes conceitos.

The government of life

Abstract:The text seeks to indicate in Michel Foucault’s works the course that the French philosopher has gone until he pointed out the emergence of the concepts of biopower and biopolitics with the objective of clarifying the current theoretical outspread on the use of these concepts.
