Pierre Clastres e a antropologia libertária

Resumo

O antropólogo Pierre Clastres investiga sociedades indígenas da América do Sul que se organizam de forma a impedir a  emergência do Estado, diferenciando-as das andinas Astecas e Maias. Busca esclarecer os mecanismos que impedem a  concentração de poder nas mãos do “um”, o chefe com  possibilidade de mando que ultrapassa a simples organização de tarefas, e demonstra como a palavra do chefe é apenas um dever, sem nenhuma condição de comando ou obrigação dos chefiados, nem mesmo a de escutar. Em sua singular pesquisa antropológica, Clastres abre as possibilidades para uma antropologia libertária.

ABSTRACT:
The anthropologist Pierre Clastres investigates South American  native societies that are organized in order to prevent the  emergence of the state, differentiating them from the Andean’s, Aztecs’ and Mayans’. Clastres seeks to clarify the mechanisms that prevent the concentration of power in the hands of “one” , the chief, with possibility of authority that goes beyond simple organizational tasks , and demonstrates how the word “chief” is only a duty, without any connotation of command or obligation of headed, not even of listening. In its singular anthropological research, Clastres opens up the possibilities for a libertarian anthropology.
