Concepções de modelagem matemática: contribuições teóricas

Abstract

Resumo Este artigo tem por objetivo apresentar parte do resultado final de uma investigação realizada em um curso de especialização durante o ano de 2005. Enfoca as concepções de quatro autores que desenvolvem trabalhos com modelagem matemática, sendo eles: Burak (1987, 1992, 1998 e 2004), Biembengut (1990 e 1999), Caldeira (2004 e 2005) e Barbosa (2001, 2003 e 2004). A partir disso, são apresentadas algumas interpretações e apontamentos para a educação matemática. O artigo trata, ainda, do desenvolvimento teórico da Modelagem no âmbito da educação matemática. Palavras-chave: ensino-aprendizagem; educação matemática; modelagem matemática. Abstract This paper presents partial results of an investigation carried out in a specialization course during 2005. It focuses on the conceptions of four authors who develop studies about Mathematical Modeling: Burak (1987, 1992, 1998 and 2004), Biembengut (1990 and 1999), Caldeira (2004 and 2005) and Barbosa (2001, 2003 and 2004). Through them, some interpretations and notes are presented to Mathematics Education.
