UM ESTUDO SOBRE A INFLUÊNCIA DO CAMPO ALGÉBRICO NA RESOLUÇÃO DE SITUAÇÕES QUE ENVOLVEM FÓRMULAS DE ÁREA

Abstract

A partir da análise de procedimentos corretos e errôneos em questões extraídas de livros didáticos de matemática, discutimos como conhecimentos do campo algébrico podem influenciar na resolução de situações que envolvem fórmulas de área. Analisamos aspectos relacionados às etapas para resolução de um problema algébrico, tais como procedimentos corretos e errôneos no mapeamento do problema; colocação do problema em forma de equação, procedimentos de resolução e formulação da resposta final. Na escrita algébrica os dados evidenciaram dificuldade de expressar simbolicamente uma situação geral. Destacamos, entre outros, erro na aplicação da propriedade distributiva da multiplicação em relação à subtração, amplamente discutido na Educação Matemática. Abstract Based on the analysis of right and wrong procedure for questions from Brazilian mathematics textbook, in this paper, we analyze how algebraic knowledge can influence solving problems that involves formula of area. We analyze some aspects related to the stages of solving an algebraic problem, such as right and wrong procedure on mapping the problem; knowledge mobilized to transform the problem on algebraic formula (equation); solving procedure and the formulating the answer. The algebraic written, the data analysis evidenced that many students has difficulties on expression symbolically a general situation. On numeric attempts, the domain is always natural. Despite studying a small clipping of knowing mathematical we hope to contribute to the formulation of effective didactic situations of teaching and learning of mathematics.
