Emerging legal dynamics in the globalized economic order: self-regulation in the capital markets

This article aims to analyze the changes and new challenges faced in the process of elaboration of legal norms, generated by the current globalized economic order. Understanding how and why unconventional forms of normative control - in particular self-regulation - emerge in the main markets adapted to the globalizing phenomenon. The approach chosen has an interdisciplinary bias, comprising the legal, economic and sociological field of the issue. For development, the work is segmented into: 1) Historical contextualization of the phenomenon of globalization and its juridical and economic unfolding; 2) Understanding of the concept of self-regulation and its connection with the notion of State; 3) Characteristics of self-regulation responsible for its emergence in the globalized economy; 4) Self-regulation applied to the Capital Market; 5) Case study; 6) Final considerations - positive and negative aspects of self-regulation and its relation to State law.
