A literatura como objeto de conhecimento: notas sobre o cânone e a pesquisa acadêmica

Abstract

From the theoretical debate about the establishment of the canon concept and its consequent criticism, this paper presents a case study on the academic production in the area of literature in order to get an understanding of the movements that may indicate interest in the establishment of literature as an object of research in graduate level. Finally, we seek a theoretical output on the relationship between the canon and the study of literature.
