Abstract

Interview with João Tiago Lima, specialist in sports and philosophy at the University of Évora, who invites us to think both as an artist and a sports person, each of whom “lends his/her body”, to use Merleau Ponty’s expression about the painter. In this section professor Lima examines the use of technique (and its subversion), and problematizes the continuity of artistic and sports practices even after artists and sports people have been enshrined in their corresponding fields of work.
