ASPECTS OF A FISHING COMMUNITY DISCOURSE: AN INTERVIEW WITH A MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY

Abstract

This study undertakes a discursive analysis of the interview granted by caiçara Vanjelina the Department of Folklore Art Foundation and Culture Ubatuba/SP. The main objective is to understand how to build textual and discursively the denunciation of cultural silencing that is imposed on these people who were born and live in coastal regions, specifically in southeastern Brazil, whose customs are in process of forgetting , as a result of growth the cities and contact with other cultures from the growth in tourism in these regions , in the middle of the second half of the twentieth century.
