METODOLOGIA PARA DESCRIÇÃO DA ENTOAÇÃO NA INTERFACE SINTAXE-FONOLOGIA

Abstract

This paper aims at discussing the corpora building in order to permit the acoustic analysis of intonation, when the research lies at the phonology-discourse-syntax interface. It has been observed that the way in which data are collected – as text reading or quasi-spontaneous speech – may alter significantly the results. This work presents the report of a study dedicated to obtain the possible intonational patterns of SV sentences in Brazilian Portuguese.
