ASPECTOS DO COMPONENTE SOCIOLÓGICO DO ENSINO DA LINGUAGEM
Abstract
Researchers and professionals concerned with the production and use of knowledge related to language learning and teaching are aware of the need for a sociological component to describe and explain the interrelationship between language and the social context. So far, nevertheless, the production of knowledge for language learning and teaching still seems to lack sociological theorisation which would allow for systematic descriptions and explanations of that interrelationship. Attempting to contribute toward an initial solution to this problem, I discuss aspects of Anthony Giddens' structuration theory relating them to the intrinsic association between language and social practices.Downloads
