MARCAS DE EXPECTATIVA NAS NARRATIVAS CONVERSACIONAIS
Abstract
This work analyses how expectation influences the structure of language in narratives, and how it is expressed through linguistic forms. Based on TANNEN’s study (1979) about frames we explain the use of the particles “não” and “mas”, and the presence of assessements and repetitions of words and expressions in a conversational narrative as evidence of expectation.Downloads
