Abstract

This article raises questions about the psychoanalytic clinic, based on the speech of patients, who, in many situations, use lyrics of rap, rock, poetry, to talk about themselves, the identifications and difficulties in the crossings they make in the metropolis of São Paulo, against the “social walls”. In this sense, the objective here is to be able to contribute with a discussion about the challenges that the patient throws to the analyst, placing him in a place of listening and translation (DERRIDA, 2000) of his psychic and social pains, which are mediated by “quotes” Found in culture. Freud, Lacan and Jakobson support the discussion.
