A INTERAÇÃO MODIFICADA FRENTE À COMPETÊNCIA COMUNICATIVA EM AULA DE LÍNGUA ESTRANGEIRA
Résumé
This paper addresses the issue of modified interaction vis-à-vis the development of communicatiVe competence within the context of L2 English formal classroom learning. On the basis of the premise that L2 interactional competence is fostered by means of exposure to “natural” discourse, a classroom interactive episode is analysed to point out the differences between modified and spontaneous interaction. The main question is whether the former would help to develop learners’ communicative ills and equip them with the necessary tools to function interactionally outside the classroom.Téléchargements
