Abstract

The population of elderly people in Brazil grows vertiginously; the life expectancy of this population is growing all over the world. Among the technologies that arouse the interest of the elderly public are computers, tablets, mobile phones, smartphones and Internet access. This article aims to present an integrative review on Information and Communication Technologies, made available on smartphones, elderly users and categorize them in the light of Sociological Theories of Aging. Among the results, it was evidenced that the researches in this context are still incipient and a systematization of 18 scientific works, international and national, was made, relating Information and Communication Technologies and Sociological Theories of Aging.
