Population aging is a worldwide phenomenon. As a strategy to discuss aging, the Project: Cinema Cycle "Aging", which since 2009, seeks through films to approach issues of old age in the population of Santa Maria, RS. In this article we highlight the film "A Master Trainee: Experience is never too much" that in its exhibition during the Project made possible a wide debate about the aging process, based on gerontology theorists.
