This study aimed to describe the profile of the elderly in the labor market according to sociodemographic characteristics through the participation rates calculation. The results indicated that the majority of the elderly in the labor market are men, residents in rural areas, agricultural workers, with high schooling, labor income greater than 5 minimum wages, who are heads of the house and are in union.Downloads
