The objective was to evaluate cognitive function and functional independence of individuals living in a Homes for the Aged in the city of Araraquara, state of Sao Paulo, Brazil. The clinical evaluation was performed by Mini Mental State Examination (p = 0.7413), Clock Test (p = 0.7407) and Functional Independence Measure (p = 0.8834). There was no difference in cognitive function and functional independence in individuals living in Homes for the Aged.Downloads
