The objective is to verify the representations of the elderly about COVID-19 by analyzing the content of images of elderly people published on the G1 / Globo Play portal. This is a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory study, anchored in the theoretical contribution of the TRS that evaluated 21 television and digital reports. Three thematic axes emerged: Representations of “Staying at home”; Strategies to face social exclusion in times of pandemic; and Post-pandemic future prospects.
