Similarities and differences between unionized retirees: a cluster analysis

The aim of this study was to identify possible similarities and differences in the condition of elderly retirees unionized in terms of the meanings of retirement and socioeconomic profile. Application of mixed instrument. Sample composed of 200 retired people aged 60 years or older. Use of cluster analysis. Two clusters with more similarities than differences were identified. It is concluded that actions to prepare for retirement should start from the perspective of managing differences throughout the aging process.Downloads
