Resumo

Em “Um moço muito branco”, Rosa une as duas maneiras de interpretar o mundo: a visão mítica e a visão racional. A partir delas, ele nos mostra que nada no mundo é absoluto e que tanto o mito quanto a razão possibilitam ao homem entrar em contato com o Cosmo. Contudo, fica evidente no conto que há momentos em que a razão não é suficiente para penetrar no mistério aparente das coisas, precisando, portanto, da magia, do irreal e irracional para devassar um sentido “outro”. Assim, ele nos ensina que o mundo é um enigma, é dúbio, é misterioso e que semelhante a ele, o homem também o é. Palavras-chave Mito; Razão; Cosmo. Abstract In “Um moço muito branco” Rosa joins the two ways of interpreting the world: the mythical vision and the rational vision. From those, he shows us that nothing in the world is absolute and that both myth and reason allows the man to get in touch with the cosmos. However, it is evident in the story that there are moments where the reason is not enough to penetrate the apparent mystery of things, and therefore magic, the unreal and irrational are needed to penetrate a sense of “another”. Thus, he teaches us that the world is an enigma, it is dubious, it is mysterious and, like the world, the man is too. Keywords Myth; Reason; Cosmos.
