Abstract

This paper analyses Eugênio Gudin’s theoretical production, presenting his neoliberal posture. The author considered capitalism as a production system that combines harmonically with democracy. He worked with the dyad market economy and democracy as an antithesis of planning and totalitarianism, building up a discourse that gives privilege to a general abstract level, without a historical and concrete analysis of every specific case.
