Abstract

The aim of this paper is to critique the ontological perspective of J. Chasin, who states that in Marx’s work the concept of politics has a strictly negative meaning. Contrary to this position, Althusserian Marxism believes that politics also has a positive meaning when it involves revolution. A communist society does not mean the end of politics, but another type of political practice.
