Keywords:
Leadership, massification, disciplinarizationAbstract
This article intends to analyze the concept of leadership found in the book The Servant: A Simple Story About the True Essence of Leadership, by James Hunter, in which the premises of radical — critical theory and similar thoughts have been used, such as Foucault’s concept of a Disciplinary Society and Burroughs’s Society of Control. Our objective is to trace a distinctive profile between what Hunter calls leadership and the aspects of massification and disciplinarization present in current perspectives of knowledge and people management adopted by companies and the society in the age of globalization.Downloads
