Abstract

O artigo enfatiza a importância da informação e do conhecimento nas organizações e, especialmente, o surgimento da responsabilidade por sua gestão dentro dessas organizações, visando a eficácia e, portanto, a obtenção dos resultados esperados. Esse novo posto de trabalho nas organizações tende a dispensar atenção à tecnologia utilizada, tanto nas áreas de informática, telecomunicações, automação e comunicações como no que se refere a todo o conteúdo informacional necessário do ponto de vista estratégico e operacional.
